About the Barrington Township Republican Organization
In a political climate often dominated by national policy issues and high-profile candidates, the crucial conversation surrounding local community issues has unfortunately been overshadowed. Media attention, voter focus, and political organizations tend to prioritize top-of-the-ballot candidates and issues, neglecting the significance of down-ballot candidates and issues that profoundly affect our daily lives.
Since its inception, BTRO has been dedicated to informing our members and voters about all candidates, races, issues, and recent political developments. However, amidst pervasive political divisiveness, even within our own party, we recognize the need to evolve. Our goal is to make BTRO the most inclusive, diverse, engaged, and localized Republican organization in Illinois.
People choose to reside in Barrington Township for its strong community and family values, reflected in our excellent schools, vibrant neighborhoods, active civic organizations, and welcoming lifestyle. BTRO is committed to promoting these core Barrington Township values.
Simply put, we are a community-focused organization. Our members represent a diverse range of ideologies, backgrounds, and experiences, and our meetings are held at convenient times and locations. We advocate for local issues that enhance our quality of life, with a particular emphasis on municipal, township, school board, and library leadership races at the bottom of the ballot. We aim to be the voice on matters that are important to our members and voters.
